Why So Many Bloggers Are Struggling To be Seen
Your blog is one in almost 2 billion sites on the web. In your niche alone, there are literally millions of other blogs – all competing to be seen and heard.
And they’re doing it in the only way they know how.
By throwing tons of content onto their blogs and promoting the heck out of it. All the while desperately hoping that something sticks.
That is what I call the “spaghetti approach” to blogging. It’s the fastest path to blogger burnout. And it doesn’t work.
Getting noticed isn’t about how much content you create – it’s about what you create and how you present it.

You Have to Make Your Blog "Sticky"

When people land on your blog, they are looking for something.
But like you, they’re busy. So if they can’t find what they need quickly and easily, they’ll leave.
Your blog has to make it clear that you have what they are looking for (or not) – within seconds of that first visit.
From there you have to make it easy for them to find what they’re need..while enticing them to keep coming back for more.
In other words you have to make your blog “sticky.”
There are 3 core elements that make a “sticky” blog.
The 3 Ingredients For A "Sticky" Blog

Be Deliberate
Your blog has to make life easier for your readers in some way. People are most interested in two things – how to survive and how to thrive. Your blog should help them by solving a problem, or by creating a delight.

Develop Your Message
You have to make it easy for your readers to understand exactly HOW you make their life easier. That means that you have to make sure your blog has a clear, consistent message. And that message is woven throughout your blog.

Design for Ease
Your blog has to make it easy for your readers to find what they are looking for. That means your blog needs to be easy to navigate, and it needs to draw your readers in rather than driving them away.
From Full-Time Mom to Pro Blogger
My online business journey began in 2006 with a blog I started to share my passion for making handmade greeting cards and other paper crafts.
One of the things that I realized early on is if you want to be successful in the online space – if you want to make money with your blog – you have to figure out how to make your blog stand out.
Since then I’ve built many blogs in the art, paper crafting and personal development space. Three of which I’ve turned into multiple 6-figure online businesses.
My blog transformed my life, and I know it can change your life too. Whether you want to make a little extra cash, or want to learn how to build an online business with your blog, I’d love to be your guide. You can read more about my story here.
